Compo Beach Residence and Guest House

Our clients were brimming over with lifelong collections of art and books with little room to gather comfortably with family and friends. We reimagined their existing house by adding a new wing and a guest house. Our approach was to create a modern home with an old soul. While honoring the purity of the contemporary architecture, we also incorporated handcrafted, imperfect finishes, color, and pattern in ways that feel almost subliminal. The result is a home where art, books, and time with loved ones are not separate pursuits but a way of life.
